I love this drive. It is small so it doesn’t take any room in my backpack. My only issue is, is it doesn’t work well with my laptop. In fact, I can’t download big files to the drive. I have to download small files at a time which was a little disappointing. It does have alot of room! I recommend the 1TB if you don’t have alot of files to put on it. I used maybe a quarter of my drive and I had a lot of files.

I like this little drive. It has good capacity, and it’s straightforward to use. It comes with a short cord, USB-C to USB-C, and an adapter to make one of those into a USB-3. The adapter only works in one orientation (USB-C is reversible, but USB-3 is not). If you don’t get a good connection, then rotate the adapter to the other side and plug it into the end of the cord again. Computer recognition of the drive is a little slow and takes a few seconds. File transfer is moderate. It’s not blazing fast, but it doesn’t fry itself, either.

I am incredibly pleased with this product. In fact, I just purchased my second one. I do a lot of video editing (mostly 4 K), and this works perfectly.
My first one is about a year and a half old and has been problem-free. I love that it is small enough to be easily portable, rugged, and looks great.
It’s worth noting that the cable that comes with it is relatively short, but that’s important – You want a short run for higher data rates. If you decide to purchase a longer cable, you will want to keep it as short as possible and ensure that it is for high-speed data transfers so your throughput does not suffer.

This SanDisk SSD has been the best backup solution I’ve ever encountered. I use it with a Macbook pro. The initial backup may take some time, but subsequent backups only take a few minutes, whether daily or weekly. It’s incredibly lightweight and compact, allowing you to plug it into your laptop’s USB-C port and carry the laptop around without worrying about the SSD falling out or getting damaged. Its small size and light weight make it perfect for travel.
